THE CONTROL ROOM
The heart of blossom studio. The control room was designed and built
with the help of professional ‘Sound Doctors’ and houses
the fully digital Protools setup and Midi Suite. It has been structured
with the use of wooden diffusers / baffles and strategically placed
absorbers for acoustic purity. The audio is provided via two Genlec
monitors, and the Protools desk is mounted in a custom-built frame
for minimal sound abnormalities. Carillon and Macintosh hardware
is utilised for recording, with rack mounted analogue compressors
and patch bays. A Line 6 Pod amplification emulator is also provided
for multi-tracking guitars.
Our vast array of industry standard professional audio software
/ plugins allow for huge creative flair and will assure you get
what you want from your recording (check out our 'kit' section).
Our engineer, Noel Watson has vast experience within the digital
recording industry and is well versed in all aspects of the extensive,
constantly evolving setup at Blossom Studio.
The casual environment of the control room allows for relaxed
evaluation of your recordings, and a centrally placed leather
sofa is the place to sit while watching Noel work wonders!
